Corel is offering $200.00 of Full versions of Painter. To the best of my knowledge the last time they did this was before they Announced the new Version.
In keeping with the Timeline that was discussed there may be a new version come March or so

Yes, you may be right. It has been sold at half price for the last five or six months in Europe. Corel have said that they are looking at a release in the first part of next year, so that could be anything up the June I suppose.
Or it may just be a pre-Christmas promotion to boost sales in this poor economic climate. <shrug>
You are right. I bought Painter IX that way , and Painter X came out in February or March (I think)
We are on the same timing. March was my guess too but perhaps will arrive a bit later. (only my conjectures)
It´s an awesome chance to get Painter for not much. In Spain you can get even the Special Edition Can for $200.
