Painter 12 to photoshop CS5 help!

#1

Hello there I wonder if anyone can help me,

I’m a professional children’s illustrator and I work solely on Corel painter, I recently upgraded from Painter 10 to Painter 12 and I love the new software so far.

The only problem is, I need to send my work to my clients in psd format, CMYK colour. In Painter 10, there was a setting that would prompt you when saving to photoshop or TIFF format, to specify your colour setting for the new file- CMYK or RGB

I want to set this prompt preference in painter 12 but I can’t seem to find it anywhere! Does anyone have any pointers for converting files like this?

Thanks everyone,
Rosie

Under the canvas menu are all colour management settings, Once set properly, you can assign profiles, view proof colours etc to match your workflow, and when saving to psd Tiff there is an embed profile check box, where the set icc is respected by PS.
