Our new web site

#1

Hello, We have finally completed our website, is a bit slow to load because is aimed at Studios which normally has a big broad band. All animations are made with EIAS.
Imago-d is a small studio that does not want to become bigger, we work with few computers, that is only possible with EIAS.
Almost are made with version 5 and 6, although some are with the 2.9, so I hope you enjoy it, all comments are welcome:)

I also wanted to say that we have purchased a system for motion capture OptiTracks and that works very well with EIAS. incredible good and easy to use and no expensive as other solutions.

Cheers

Very nice site. Are the architectural images also rendered with EIAS?! If so can you explain a bit about the lighting set-up.

Regards
Stefan

#3

Forgives confusion but architectural renders are made Cinema4d_Vray , everything else is EIAS.

Hola!

thank you for your comments, it is a pleasure:applause:.

Almost jobs have already several years now we are working with EIAS 7 and motion capture, I hope you will notice the improvements:)

Hi Felix, yes, I have some models created with Groboto is a very fun application for fractal modeling, would be very good to have some tool to do fractal modeling in EIAS, and animate its parameters.

Please we need animatable modeling tools in EIAS!

que viva Chile! :)

very nice website, Im Jealous. Going from the literal - the architecture - to the abstract -
is not easy to do. It shows your versatility. Very nice!

#15

Very impressive web site. I like the whole thing about it- the ambience, sense of design and composition and especially the quality of lighting. The subject matter was intriguing.

This website is one of the best that I’ve seen. I wasn’t aware of Groboto until I saw this site. I bought it. Lots of fun.

Thank you very much for your comments give me many spirits to do better,
Every day there are better and faster programs for 3d, but none is as good and fast as EIAS:love:

Thank you for your words, here we all admire your Motion Graphics work.

Recent days we have been seeing much your demo because we are deciding whether to buy Particle Illution, or Particular trapcode for AE.

You work with Particle Illution, right?

Almost all jobs are for record companies, so we gave the magic and mystery of music.

EIAS phong and raytracing is perfect for that.

Olé, Grobotto is a charming app, we love to use my nephew and my too.
if you find more fractal modeling tools, please tell me!

Cheers

Thanks Diego, I use Particle Illusion mostly. It has a HUGE amount of presets to begin with
and I found it not too hard to make adjustments too them and alter them. They render
extremely fast. You generally grab a preset thats close to what you are looking for and
change the settings to make it work for you. At first, the sheer amount of presets can be
overwhelming, but you come to appreciate them. I also purchased their advanced
emitters. (they are cheap to buy) I love the program and I have only used maybe half of what it can do.

Particular. Is great as well, I own it as well. There are presets, but not many. Its strength, to me, is that its in AE. I dont use it as much mainly for a couple of reasons.
#1 its pretty slow. You need to render things over and over to get things right, so speed
is real important or you will spend hours and hours to get it just right.
#2 there are some presets, but you are generally starting from scratch when creating your effects. Its powerful, so its learning curve is a bit more difficult.

On the plus side, its precise and offers some nice options. I wish I had more free time to
get good and fast with it.

You can never have too many tools! But I would start with PI if you had to choose.

Hi Scott,

Advanced emitters of Particle Illution is very good and have an excellent quality, but I was surprised to see that is a aplicaciĂČn itself, I thought that was a AE-plug-in.

Can Particle illution read the 3dcamaras from AE, and could also read the movement of more than one object in order to link more than one emmiter on the same project?

I read something that had trouble reading the movement of AE7.0 or AE CS3.

Gives me a little afraid that the process of exporting some elements (Cameras and movement) from AE open in PI. again for AE is all makes me a bit complicated. Please, how is your experience with this?

Thanks

Sorry for my English

Cheers
Diego

I am not aware of PI imprting ae cameras. I usually import my quicktime scene into
PI as reference. Keyframe my particles, render them out and import them into EI.
I composite them and matte them as needed. Ive never really needed to “follow a camera” in my work. I am not sure what you ar trying to do. Maybe we accomplish
the same thing in different ways.

PI should have a version for ae in the future. There has been talk, and it may be soon.
