Hello everyone.
Ive been surfing these forums for a long while now, and ive never really had the need to sign up. But it hit me yesterday that this was the one place i wasnt looking for modelers, and whatnot. Currently i am a modeler for the Sky and Beyond DEV team (Some info about it will be linked to at the bottom of this page) Currently we are in search of modelers, texturers, concept artists, and 2d interface artists (as well as programmers if you know any ;)).
We are using the www.nevrax.org NeL engine used in the game Ryzom. If any of you know it. This is the first 100% mmorpg engine, and can handle pretty much anything you throw at it. (depending how you throw it)
If anyone would be interested then please leave me a message here, or email me us at SkyandBeyond@gmail.com
Thank you for your time.

Story for Sky and Beyond:
[font=Verdana, Tahoma][size=2] Quick Overview
Sky and Beyond begins at the time of destruction. The world has mysteriously exploded, with the broken lands scattered throughout the universe. Bonds are broken, and battle is forged in this day and age.
The world is set in a high fantasy universe. The lands are filled with lush enviroments from forests, swamps, tundra, beaches, while the sky is filled with beauty. The land is no longer your boundary, roam the skies with other people around the world in search of the broken lands. Mystery, danger, and suspense await you.
How do you get through the sky you say? Skyships. Skyships are propelled by wind and engines. Five to twenty people control the ship. The universe is filled with black holes, meteors, planets, stars, clouds, and of course, unexplored lands. Soar through the air and discover new areas throughout the universe.
History Of “Sky and Beyond”
In an age held in fable and myth, not wholly forgotten, lived three now lost. These were the Ildryn, the ?authors of the world? so called by those now who live amid the broken lands. The world at large had not always been divided for it was not the ancients? first intentions to make it so. As one great kingdom it stood among the stars, though it was a kingdom without a king.
The Ildryn had poured their power into a jewel of great brilliance. It was by the jewel?s power that the very threads of the world were held together, and there was, for a time, an age of prosperity, held fast by the balance of powers within this jewel.
The realm of Celestia gave birth first to the drakes through the powers of Failynn, the darkest of the ancients. He, above all, wished to rule supreme and thus he summoned those of draken kind to do his bidding. The drakes held a pure might rivaled only by the magic of those yet to emerge.
The Ylfe were soon to come afterward, held in legend to have been fashioned from a chill summer?s breeze through Ahaellis? craft. The Ylfe were by far the fairer of the two races, clever and charming. They were not so hastily inclined to evil, and therefore resistant to the effects of the gloom magic born of Failynn?s hatred and jealousy. This was indeed to their advantage for battle was not far off as the legions of the two ancients lay upon the brink of war.
Soon after the creations of Ahaellis and Failynn a third race was wrought from the magic of Eloan. Eloan was an ancient of skillful magic craft. He wished neither for great power nor for the weight of a world. He wished merely for a people to call his own, and so came about the beginnings of the Elenan 1200 years past.
It was only 200 years ago to this date when the first stain of blood scored the lands of Celestia, for Failynn?s true spirit could no longer be held at bay. The skies darkened with his draken legions as he drew his minions to the breadth of the world in search of the jewel which Ahaellis had hidden in his foresight.
The Ylfe had formed a group of most noble warriors, dedicated to what virtues Ahaellis had maintained. Of no great might and thus outmatched against the armies of Failynn, the Ylfe focused upon effectively applying their knowledge and skill in magical craft into material form. They learned to heal the sick and wounded without the aid of herbs, they learned to strengthen both blade and mail, to pass as the wind - unseen, and at last to call forth great beasts of might from naught but thought. After 1000 years of inner feud and lingering doubt they were ready, ready indeed.
These warriors of the Ylfe gained the title of ?Palena? or of the common speech ?Soldiers of Honor?, more widely known as knights. They were the vanguard of the ancient city, Neldyra when at last the dark hordes drew near. Armed with both blade and magic, the ranks of palena fought with fierce skill, cutting a path to the very gates of Failynn?s kingdom.
When the last blade had fallen, the last shaft flown across the heavens, Ahaellis stood before the host of knights and claimed the day in triumph, yet in victory had they failed. Failynn was naught to be found for he had secretly crept past the unguarded Neldyra and had alas found the hidden jewel. While his draken throng lay slain across the land, he enchanted the jewel with a dark magic in hopes to sway the world to his cause; in doing so the balance of powers was disturbed and caused the precious stone to shatter. The known world was torn asunderand scattered to the deep. The shards of the jewel were lost, and with them so Failynn was.
Witnessing the appalling destruction that Failynn and his minions had inflicted, Eloan was compelled to act. In spell he fashioned a metal of a brilliant silver luster. Light yet resilient and strong it was, favored for the task of constructing the sky ships that would soon crown the heavens in great numbers.
The metal was met with a strange curiosity among Elenan smiths, for only with magic would it become pliant. Heat was of no affect and therefore the small folk hailed it as Sil?roen or merely Roen, meaning ?frost?. Elenan smiths set to work on the No?fel, their royal sky fleet. By A.F. 210, the current era, the fleet was finally ready to set sail and piece together once more the shattered lands of Celestia.
In an Elenan blacksmith, within the city of Elliden, an alliance emerged. Ahaellis and Eloan banded together and fashioned a fine mail of Roen and forged blades of the same. Together they set their path amid the stars, and so they travel in search of Failynn, the lost.
Their master’s spell withering from among them, the drakes began to reason of their own and some fell from his clutches to follow their own paths. The Ylfe remained hostile and wary of the proclaimed free thought of draken-kind. Doubt, too, lingered amongst the Elenan, though some acknowledged this new autonomy.
It took little time for royal houses to spring forth from the Peoples of Celestia and vie for power within each kingdom, yet most frowned upon bloodshed for now all had a like cause; this was the restoration of the known world. Still, the three kingdoms remain apart and the Ildryn hidden from the lands, yet still their thoughts are felt, their commands heeded. It is so that the kingdoms should not fold but be guided, each, by a regent-house. Thus, in this age of despair and lingering hope, Celestia awaits the aid of the three kingdoms.
