Hello Eric,
Thanks for your tutorials video . This is give me a solution at my learning of modelisation !! ![]()
I have a little question to you i would like making a mops for developp my sales marketing
here the picture of the model

Thanks in advance
While you could use many of the techniques shown in this series for the broom, I’d stick mostly with bevels, lofts, etc. (check ego-farms.com for tutorials) and then use poly modeling to get nice edges and details. Good luck with the modeling. It’s a cool shape.
Hello
Thanks Eric for your help !! Can you recommend me a good tutorials for learning this project
Cordially
Sure. Have a look at my signature for a link to the 101 series which goes over the basics of learning Max. Enjoy!
Just an advice if you go on the spline based path - avoid spline optimization. You need your polys evenly spaced. I made this mistake recently, with a fountain model, and it was quite impossible to unwrap later. I had to use a procedural shader - which turned out fine, btw
Looks like the video tutorials I made available to the community have been packaged and are now being sold without my knowledge. (see link below) If you have any information on who these guys are, please let me know. Sadly, if this doesn’t get resolved I will be forced to close down the site and stop providing videos.
Use Google Translate:

Thanks

That’s really sad… some people…
I do hope you can get this resolved. Your instructional video’s are truly magnificent and are of great value to the community!! I would really hope to see many more of them ![]()
Anyway, I did a check on the Whois information linked to this website and came up with the following:
This info is readily and legally available on the Internet btw. Goto http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/index.jsp, where you can enter any registered domain name to obtain owner information (unless privacy is enabled, in which case you won’t be able to get the information).
Maybe this can be of some help, somehow…
Again, I do hope you can get this resolved quickly. IMHO these people should be locked up for what they’re doing…
Best regards,
John
Thanks John,
I think we’re pretty close in having this resolved. The support of the community has been great. Thanks again.
Man this sucks big time! I am learning 3DS max right now and following the videos you have provided to the community, great work, thank you very much! i hope you get this situation resolved soon.
Luis
I’m very happy to hear that! On both accounts ![]()
p.s. Kirt: point taken. Should have been more careful. I’m sorry, won’t happen again!
Looks like Paul’s maxine is on this site too… dont know if its legit. Say’s its for Maya which is odd:

yeah, there seems to be a lot of “borrowed” content on the site. It looks like they just grabbed a bunch of free tutorials and assets and bundled them on DVDs for people to purchase. I hope I’m wrong, but I’m seeing too many familiar images browsing through the site.
Fortunately, the issue is resolved for these videos, but if anyone else has content on there that they didn’t authorize, PM me and I’ll be happy to help get it taken down.
hI,
I am very exited to view your tutorials but unfortunately not able to download form part 01 to part 12. Even i tried to save target but not respond out of getting index.html file. I have tried to download file from Intenet explorer, mozila firefox, opera, AVANT browser and netscape but totally failed. Is there any way to download your tutorials or different server where you have uploaded files? Kindly please help me in this. I will be really greatful to you.Your friend
