Thanks Tomas! Glad to hear it was helpful. If you have any suggestions for future tutorials, let me know. Happy modeling.

p.s. for those who checked out the series a little while back some texturing ones have been added as well as more of the 101 series.

I can’t open the max files

What 3dsmax version do I need???

I have 3dsmax 7 but I couldn’t open them

#27

Thanks all for checking them out. I’m glad many of you are finding them useful. Unfortunately, the Max files were created in Max8 so they won’t work in v7. Sorry. :frowning:

Hi, Im registerd so I can get these files, as I have been looking for this sort of thing for a while, but im afriad Im unable to view any of them, the links are there. but when I click on them nothing happens… or if I right click and save target, it just saves the htm file…

Anything Im doing wrong? as Im really looking fwd to seeing these.

Many thanks
zak

Thanks for checking it out guys.

Zakk: When you just click on the link and nothing happens, Quicktime is probably buffering the file. As for the “save target as” make sure you’re right clicking on the link itself. If that doesn’t work, PM me with the link you’re trying this on so I can take a closer look.

Cheers

E.

Although I am new to 3ds max and learning rhino right now, I’ll keep this for further study. Thank you for your hard work!

#32

I’m sure it’s nice…but whenever I try opening the video, it takes way too long to load…I’ve had it going for about 10 minutes and the page doesn’t load…

#33

You’re probably just experiencing slow bandwidth. Try right-clicking on the movie link and saving it to disk. At least you will then receive a progress bar letting you know how much time is left.

#34
