OpenGL,GFX card or dunno what

Hi folks,
I am having a terrible problem that doesnt seem to happened on my laptop. Not new in the business but yes to AE CS4. I am have a solid, than i applied a mask and adjust to feather to taste the results some crappy and horrible display of my mask.
I have tried the same technique in other applications like PSCS4, EIAS, or C4D and it seems to work fine, but when i am on AE it doesnt function anymore.

I turned off openGL,color space set to off,8bits, reset the settings of my monitor as well as AE nothing seems to help. So what is going on?

My specs MacOS Leopard 10.5.7, AE CS4,NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT

Thanks,Edgard

Have you trashed the AE prefs? Are you per chance masking on a 3D layer, possibly even with continuous rasterization?

Yes i have trashed the prefs, installed it again and there is nothing i can do about it. One solution is to render out as 16bit or 32 bit.
Simply an absurd thing in AECS4 since my other applications seem to work great.
OpenGL is turned off.
I upgraded to Leopard 10.5.8
I did everything i could than i went to Nvidia website and found out that my MacPro is second generation which the Graphics Card that comes with the MacPro(2008) is not supported, so i click on the upgrade link and it directs me to the Apple store saying ¨Sorry The item you have selected is currently not available from the Apple Store.
Please note that Apple cannot guarantee availability of any product¨

That is simply a slap in the face.

So does anybody has the upgrade for the GeForce 8800GT? Because Apple doesnt carry it anymore.

Thanks,Edgard
