redjesus: awesome start! On my screen the colours look a little fawnish (is that even a word, I looked it up in a rusty English dictionary), but this is probably just your basic layer of colour? Besides I shouldn’t talk because ma gal’s purple folks:).
mattellis: you make me laugh with your tattood lady and then you suddenly swing around and come up with lovely colours and a real gentle feel! It is funny how you play around with archetypes of depicturing women:).

Okay, so this is my update. Decreased her humonguous foot a little:) and worked on the background. I consider this a ‘first finished version’ the way I would finish a first version of a short story. This is where I would love some feedback to delve more into it. I learned a lot already about colours and brushstrokes…but I would love to really challenge myself.

PS. I know it’s a bit blurry, because I’m working on a low res monitor (600 by 800!!): mine broke down and I had to borrow one. Will do face in close up on bigger canvas, then paste.
