U said you are drawing using mouse. I suggest Instead of using mouse u can try freehand using a pencil and paper after that u can colour it. :bounce:

Ohhh, Iāve just seen this new workshop and there are already 9 pages with replies and so many good starts around, amazing:thumbsup: !..Itās too good to miss it and Iām so rusty with painting, so I try to jump in it with a master copy:bounce: ā¦unfortuately not before the next weekend.

Well, Iāve had very little time to work on my piece, and what with the vaguaries of Painter giving me touble ive not made a huge amount of progress. Trying out various brushes and paint types but nothing has really grabbed me yet. All seems a bit desaturated.

as of a couple of versions ago, i have no idea where iĀ“m going with this piece :).
after some additional sketching, i thought iĀ“d work on the luminance in photoshop, which was way off course. obviously. 
som input, perhaps some pointers?, would be nice

Damn this thread grows so fast!
Amazing work so far.
I corrected the anatomy using some reference and started the shading of the angel. I hope the shading looks good enough cause itās not easy to do out of scratch.
Still i fear to do the face. Letās hope for the best.

Well, I managed to get a bit more progress in. Starting to refine the shapes bit by bit. Trying out a real sword in the angels hand, which is at a slightly awkward angle, and sorting out the angels horrendous hairdo.
Apologies if iām swamping the thread. Tell me to update previous posts, or not post as much if Iām causing problems.

nimal, thanks! I will be starting the digital as soon as I work out the traditionalā¦I still āthinkā better traditionally, so Iām going to give this way of working from traditional to digital a shot, whereas before Iāve started only digitally.
Glenn, thank you! The dragon idea occurred to me too, I love Rubensā dragonsā¦
kboss, please continue to post consecutive WIPs - no one goes back to check for updated posts. Itās great to see the process in a linear fashion, so donāt worry about posting a lot of WIPs, itās really the strength of the Workshop.

eduart wonderful to see your progres on that satyr. Maybe add just a bit of peachy orange to his skin here and there
Mercuralis thatās indeed looking very nice. was wondering if it would read better if you would move the characters more to the left (crop some of her wing if you have to)ā¦
