On a time crunch, simple question

Hey guys.

I am using pflow to animate a running crowd. Only problem is I am having a hell of a time getting the animation to be offset, so it isn’t so obvious that I am using the same clip over and over.

I have a plane with the animated texture applied to it and that is an instance, and I have tried everything in pflow to get it to offset but it just will not budge.

What am i missing??

where are you getting the texture from? the intanced plane or a material op

there is an offset option in the shape instance menu, have to make it animated though.if that dont work…

could try making a load of planes with the animation offset on them, group them together, then intance the group making each a group member a seperate particle,

or you could give them a birth from a negative frame to 0, this should stagger the animation,
