need to colour correct and apply some effects for the rendered scene…i have rendered the scene with specific ids (object id or render id), so that each object looks in diifferwnt colour (have attached the copy of the image)…this is the similar technique used in fusion, to select various objects…can this be used in after effects as well, to select various objects in a particular scene…

The only thing that is somewhat similar is “Zorro the Layer Tagger” script that you can use in AfterEffects. You can color code your layers etc., set up selection groups with that script - but the layer itself doesn’t change to that color in the preview window - only the outline of the selected “Box” when you have it selected. Unless there is something else out there that does this and I’m not aware of it.

It used to be free, but it looks as though it costs a marginal fee now ($20). But I’ve used it and it works quite well.
