Final Cut Pro HD editor
Northwest Imaging & FX is looking for a FCP editor to work on a fully animated 3D series. Based in Burnaby, British Columbia, we are developing an animation pipeline to grow and expand on.
Job Description:
*Edit preproduction/production media in an HD animation environment, production based over the next 12 months w/possibility of extension
Job Requirements:
*Cut storyboards/dialogue into animatic/leica reel, I/O of various .wav/image files in a 24 fps timeline
*Understanding of HD formats and conform lists, good sense of storytelling
General Requirements:
*Understanding of digital concepts and workflows
*Good organization, ability to juggle multiple tasks
*Strong communication and timeline skills
*Take direction well
*Ability to work independently
Pluses:
*Experience in animation environments
MUST have a good sense of humor, work well within a team of other skilled artists
MUST be a Canadian citizen/landed immigrant

Demo reel submission:
