Nuke lagging because of Rotopaint?

Hi,

I have this problem with nuke 6.1 and 6.2. Whenever I start using rotopaint nodes, nuke will eventually start lagging pretty badly. Ive tried clearing caches, reinstalling etc. Most times, after a minute or 2, the program will recover, but only to lag again after 5 minutes. Other times I have to force quit.

My comp specs are below

Core i7 extreme 6 core
6 gig ram
quadro fx 3800

Anyone know whats up with this

i am assuming you are running windows ? what build ?

Have not had this problem with osx and linux. What res is your comp and what operations are you doing ? how many strokes ?

It seems to happen when I get to 6 or more strokes of anything in rotopaint. My operating system is Win 7. Also the res of the footage is 2048x1152

not sure about this. is your configuration on the Nuke Qual charts ? I am guessing this might be one for support. windows systems have so many variables that its just too hard to try and guess.

contact the foundry they shoul dbe able to shed some light.
