Im making some simple foam on a leg i painted the foam on but when i play the particles expand an go nuts how can i keep them the same size an in sample location thanks

im thinking goals but not sure how to keep them from expanding any thoughts

goals yes… and turn off collisions and self collisions.

You could emit from a black and white texture using texture rate and use a goalU = parentU; goalV = parentV; expression in creation and runtime.

you should also turn Ignore Solver Gravity on.
this is Uv based too so your mesh should be unwrapped in 0 to 1 space

these techniques will weld the particle sin the place they are created.

You could also set the “Is Dynamic” attribute to false. That should keep them still no matter what.
