Nice environent studies!
Where do you get your refs for these?
Keep going!
NR43.
I take the pictures from everywhere.
Whenever I stumble across a picture on the net that I like, I save it into my references folder. These are mostly pictures with something particular in them which id like to concentrate on and learn from it. Like a special cast shadow, an reflection, interesting color scheme that I want to study, cool areal perspective, etc. etc.
Sometimes there are scenes in movies or trailers that look cool or would be just great for speed painting practice, and I do a snapshot of them (like the submarine on the 1st page from the X Files).
Same goes for everything thats going on in real life, so I take occasionally a picture of an Situation, of which I think, it would be cool to paint and to learn from.
Didn’t have much time nor verve to paint…

Just like me then
Damn, just cant pull myself together.
I just want to get comfortable with drawing and painting, but there is so much to learn that I dont know on what to focus on.
Some aimless doodling.

You’re doing great. If you feel like without steam, it’s maybe better to change your habits, fore example do these studies only with pencil. It helps me.
Keep up buddy
