normalmap UV problems max

hi,
im new to mudbox and the whole UV mapping thing (so this might be abit stupid) im having problems with extracting normal maps and displacement maps.

i think it may be the way i have laided out my UV’s so i have attached images of my UV’s laided out in 3ds max.
do you have any advice in laying out UVs?

also i cant seem to find a preset for 3dsmax in the baker theres only one for Maya

ifind mudbox alot easier to use then zbrush

are you using version 1.06…?

im using mudbox 1.0 (rev. 1560)

1560 is an old version…
get the newest version…

it could also be, that you have you wraps on different material ids.
