Normal Seams

Please help me! For months I’ve been stuck trying to figure out how to export my normal maps without getting these seams to show. No matter how I UV map it, no matter how I sculpt and export, they are always there!

I use 3ds max to model, Mudbox to sculpt and to export normal maps. I even tried exporting my low and high poly models then used XNormals, but they are always there.

I’m at my wits end! :banghead:

Have you checked if one of the UV islands is inverted/ flipped? Have you tried inverting the green channel of the normal map?

are you rendering the normalmap…?
do you use linear workflow…?
if yes dont make the normalmap linear…

Make the normal map use 1 gamma when importing it.
