Ok so here’s my dilemma. Everytime i go to make a basic pyro fx effect, the up res nodes arent there along with the switch node and some of the other ones that are suppose to go along with it. What i get instead is (refer to picture)…If anyone could shed some light on what im doing wrong id really appreciate it
Since Houdini 12 (possibly even 11), the upres nodes are not added by default. I’m pretty sure this is because of the updates to the solvers. You can get really detailed sims without relying on upresing now. The nodes still exist, and I’m pretty sure there’s still an upres shelf button that you can use to add the necessary nodes.
