no Particles?

Hello, i have a problem as you can see in this link

There is no add button in the particle tablet, im still new on blender so please help

what happens if you start a fresh scene, or open one that already has particles?

You have to add the modifier first
make sure you have your monkey selected then
click the fourth icon left of the particle icon (the one that looks like an adjustable wrench)
then click add modifier and choose the particles system modifier
go back to particles and have fun :slight_smile:

you shouldn’t have to add the modifier first - normally there is an empty box in the panel with the +/- buttons, to add a particle system, which in turn also adds the modifier (seems redundant/pointless to have it in both locations, if you ask me).
Either his scene is corrupt, or his installation.

You haven’t set the panel to be horizontal have you and the particle panel is out of view? RMB with you mouse over the panel and select vertical alignment
