Hello Everyone, they said I should introduce myself being a new CGS member and all…so I’m doing just that…oh, sup with the subject title you asked? Well I’m Trinidadian ( Trinidad is the island, you’ve probably never heard of it, ) and I don’t think there are much ( if any ) of us around here, or from the Caribbean for that matter.

Anyways, just wanted to say that CGTalk is just the best, and since I’ve been a regular member for awhile, I thought I would show my full support by upgrading ( not to mention all the cool stuff you get, hehe )

So come on in, and say hi…let’s drink some coconut water, eat some mangos, and be friends…

Does it count that I’m going on holiday to Cuba, actually Cayo Guilllermo, which is close to Trinidad?

hey Heinz…you’re close enough, but not as close as Roberto as the image will show…Trinidad ( lower right of the image, the boot looking one ) and Tobago ( the even smaller one at the upper right of Trinidad ) are considered one nation…it’s a great place to live…nice beaches…good people…living off the land…( as it is with most Caribbean islands…so I know you’ll enjoy your holiday in Cuba Heinz

Haha! I was born and raised in the Philippines for 1/2 of my life. I drank coconut juice all the time. In fact it’s my favorite drink. Can’t get that stuff here in the states. That frozen stuff can only do so much! Thanks for the introduction and welcome! I recently just became a memeber as well. Trying to support the cause.

LOL, and what a wonderful island it is too Teyon…glad to see you here…I have family in the bronx, ( brothers, sisters, some nieces and nephews too ) in brooklyn ( aunts and uncles, cusins ) and long island <<( mostly inlaws there tho )…and inlaws in Jamacia as well ( my wife is Jamacian  )…Currently tho I live in Palm Bay, Florida, but I keep Trinidad as that’s where my heart lives…

LOL…Hey man, thx for stopping by, and you’re not kidding about that frozen stuff, it just doesn’t do the real thing justice!!..( hand picked fresh from the tree, the same tree you climbed yourself to get it, lol )…it’s really a great drink…

I try to keep track of everyone in my family to see how the races change from generation to generation…I’m black…( see image, lol )…but I have indian, spanish, asian mixed, and white mixed in my family tree…just goes to show how connected we really are too the world, and might not even know it!!
