new to after effects:Nested compositions good or no good ?

Hi,
simple question.
my workflow is very chaotic for the moment, since i really don’t master anything about the software.
i randomly came up with nested composition, but i don’t know if this is ok to do that or not…

Nested compositions are an integral part of AE workflows. There is no “it’s good” or “it’s not good”, so do whatever you feel is practical for your purposes. And no offense, but after asking questions all weekend, you really should watch Andrew Kramer’s AE Basics tutorials and read the help. The more you “just muddle through”, the more confusing things wil lget in the long run and you will end up with projects you won’t even understand yourself anymore, if you re-open them in half a year.
