Need Help with Starfield

Hi everyone
I’m trying to create a Star field that I can travel through with a camera to make the Warp light speed effect. Motion blur is not all that important to me.
I tried it with a Video Post Star field. I couldn’t get it to work moving forward through space.
I’m thinking of using Particles. I would love a bit of a nudge in the right direction.
