I am very new to computer graphics and am currantly working on an indie game with a couple of friends. my problem comes with our Markerless Motion Captures. when our motion capture person did his movment (ie. running) he moved from one side of the room to another in order to make the movement as realistic as possible (on a limited budget). but to work in a game, that Character has to stay in one place while running. I am using Maya 2012 and have rigged our characters using the HumanIK function. It was easy enough to move the animations from the MoCap rigg to my custom rigg, but I am stuck for an easy way to keep my character in one place while allowing it to do the animation. is there an easy trick to do this? I could just move her back into the centre each key frame, but there is over a hundred of those (and sometimes more for some of the idle animations)? any tricks someone could pass on to me would be of great help.
Need help with Maya 2012
