Need help with FumeFX and sparks rendering

#1

Hello guys,
I faced a problem, which I can’t figure out for several days, so decided to seek help here. I am currently looking at an overview video about simulating a realistic FumeFX tutorial. Everything is clear except the part, where the guy renders the explosion sparks. The sparks are created with a PFlow system, with a simple geometry to which a self-illuminated material is applied as seen in the picture. So in some way, he manages to render the sparks’ geometry, while the fumeFX explosion is completely black as seen in the pic. I don’t speak Russian and can’t understand very clearly what exactly he said about that, part of what I understood is that FumeFX renders black like that where there is no illumination. If anyone knows how to achieve this, wouldn’t mind a helping hand  Deleted all scene lights, shut off GI but still no luck. Cheers.
