Need help with bold text

I have a client that wants his text and wants to animate bolding it. I have all of the text cut out in jpeg format. What is the easiest way to do this?

I really don’t want to retype everything.

Effect --> Channel --> Minimax
Effect --> Matte --> Simple Choker
Layer Styles --> Stroke
