Need critique for final reel

#1

Hey

This is a part of my final film. Id appreciate it if I got critique for the animation and maybe even cameras. I had posted this 2 days ago but since that was my first post for some reason it never showed up. I just have a day left to the deadline so I may not be able to do major changes immediately but I would like to keep improving this even after so any and all forms of critique would be appreciated.

There’s no story, its just a guy doing parkour (or something close to it :D)

Thanks!!!

Hi Thevilneo!
This is a good start, but there are several places where the hips just stop dead, (like when he jumps onto o the fire escape) and that really kills the animation.

Thanks Yasha, unfortunately right now I wont be able to change it because i have to render, comp and submit the finals in 2 days  BUT I will be fixing what you said and what anyone else may suggest in the week after so thank you

The animation looks fine. But the staging and camera movements are tough. I would keep the camera movements at a minimum and make sure your character is in the best position. Other than, that I am looking forward to the final render. In my animation class our instructor told us to ONLY color what was going to be animated (or moved). That way the eye can focus on that at all times. Just a suggestion.

This is the edit as of 17th October 2012. It has been rendered and submitted for the sound edit after which it will be shown at my graduation. It is far from finished but I will improve it over time.

Critique is always welcome!

Thanks

This is what was presented on graduation. Please check it out and tell me what you guys think.

Still room for improvement and in the next few days I will be working on the animation. I was thinking of making a reel with just playblasts because now I dont really have a computer that would be able to render this sadly.
