Pls find below my humble attempt at matte painting:

Does the buildings look out of place against the sky (sky is one photo, all buildings from one photo)?
Been cracking my brains to try to blend them in but in vain. I’m trying not to use the airbrush or other smudging tools otherwise the whole thing will look blur and muddy.
Any pointers or feedback would be appreciated!

hey there , looks good for a start, you keep the scale in the destroyed part of the highest skyscraper but the detail in the small one is very fuzzy, blured lacks of detail, also the color palette might be a little poor and over saturated, take in mind that even an overcast day has a keylight or light direction, that should be shown lighting the smoke columns, maybe some indication of fires could work, and some foreground and background elements could help the composition
