Hello all, I have recently gotten back into modeling after being away for a few years. I am now working on production concept model of a collapsible traffic cone. I have two reference images for what I am doing, the problem I see at the moment is attaching nCloth to the rings and have the mesh fold down like the reference image. I am open to doing it any other way than nCloth and all help is very appreciative.

Read up on using nConstraints. You can easily constrain the model to the rings and simply animate them down.
