My work was removed from featured section after editing the thumbnail

so I posted this image and it was selected to be in the featured galery.

mohamedraof — Street View

then I tried to change the thumbnail and I went back to check and it was gone from the featured galery.
so does it take sometime to show up again or it was removed permanently?
