wow redfrog! Really nice and dynamic stuff! And the B/W-style looks very cool.
How do you do it? Do you first go and do light and shadowside with B/W and then erase into the black parts?
Thanks for the kind works, folks!
Tednindo - i usually (and i’ve only just started doing this!
) scribble in the black and scratch back into with the eraser as i go. The style is a lot looser than i usually do and usually takes about 10 minutes for a character.
This on below was an attempt at at scene and took about 20-25 minutes.

in tune with your previous posts, this time “a bit of cool bad-ass-ness”
awesome! love the graphic quality of this style ![]()
Thanks Jpedro!
When i see how awesome your stuff is looking these days it is a real compliment to get such kind comments from yourself!

You have a massive output - and usualy quality gets lower with quantity - but not with your images…
it’s very interesting seeing your new style developing with each new image and everybody can tell how comfortable you feel with this - great and unique expression.
Here’s some Spawn fan art I did recently. The final image and the original layout rough.

Thanks Jan!
You’re far too kind…Seriously tho, I sometimes wonder how I can function at all without coffee. Its like my body refuses to obey my commands unless it has a certain quantity of caffeine in it

wow this is awesome. You really discovered a style for you, which seems to fit perfect. Those latest drawing are really spectacular. With just 3-4 hues you are able to create depht, tension and textures. Go on!
Thanks Tednindo! You’re too kind!
Here’s my latest black coffee inspired noir piece. Have included a 5 step process pic as well…
