Trying to make a female Japanese samurai. Sculpted in zbrush, textured with mudbox and rendered in vray for maya so far. Still a big WIP. So I really wanna hear what you guys think and improve it to a okay level.

All C&C are welcome and appreciated.

THe modeling is ok, could be improve but for me it’s more the pose

Not dynamic enough. No Facial expression and the hand try to pull the katana out of the scabbard but she doesn’t have a good grip on it. Also the curvature of the blade should be flip vertical. A katana is always dress like that on the waist

Thanks a lot for the reply. Yeah the face does look quite boring in a way. I will definitely make it more alive. And I just did some research and got some extra refs about the pose. You are 100% right. Going to fix that right away. Thanks again! Imal post some new test renders after lm done fixing.
