My Member Introduction

Hello,

What a great forum! Glad to be a part of it. You guys have done an awesome job and I really enjoy this place.

I’m a lighting designer and I’m also a content creator for screens so I work with XSI, Maya, 3dmax and modo.

My favorite software thus far is by far Houdini Master 8. It is incredible and I’m learning more and more every day.

I aspire to traverse to being a film TD as a lighter and shader writer. I enjoy modeling and dynamics too.

I’m a true geek and I’m proud of it.

Isn’t Houdini 8 still in beta? Btw, how are you learning it? There aren’t that many learning resources on Houdini; do you know about any good training materials?
