I’m comping a demo reel and I was curious what the industry attitude is towards the music. I’ve seen lots of really cool demo reels with great music but I always wonder where did the music come from? Do you use stock or do people take their chances with copyrighted material?
Oh and, where’s the “render job-winning demo reel” button in After Effects?
Well you can use software like Fruity Loops to create your own loops of music with help of almost all musical instruments…You can even make a great music loop if u dont have any knowledge of music because it is so easy…you should try with a demo version…or else you can google for royalty free music and find some uncopyrighted stuff…
and ya…“Render job-winning demo reel” button is right inside after effects but you will have to find it on your own and I am sure when u’ll find it you wont need that button anymore…
