Multiple character tracks = Broken neck

I have a character with 4 clips in story mode. Everything works.

I bring in another character, apply an ik/fk rig - everything is still ok - I can animate the character. If I load animation onto this second character his head collapses into his chest.

If I create an IK only rig it doesn’t do this - has anyone else experienced this problem?

Removing the actor and marker sets and leaving only the character and control rig in the source clip worksaround this problem.

This is a tedious workaround as redirecting a clip to another source file also seems to be broken. The character ceases to animate…

//correction: today I can replace clips - yesterday it didn’t work - awesome!
