I think I may be discovering the limits of my graphics card here, but I don’t think I can even export the model out of mudbox as an obj, so I could at least finish the texture outside of the program. I also get this weird second grid which wasn’t there before.
Any suggestions?

on the lower right corner you see the graphics ram usage… to get more free ram close all other apps… merge all not needed paint and sculpt layer… dont display unused objects in the highest level…

bake an ambient occlusion map to see all details and paint on level2 or 3… that would do it…
