mudbox crashing

I just wanted to ask experienced Mudboxers if it’s normal for the 15 day trial to crash much? Everytime I try to use the bulge brush or value paint tools it goes immediatley. I unfortunately don’t know the components to my computer as it was a gift from my brother who built it from various parts. I do know that 3ds Max 8 runs fine on it and he knew what I’d be using it for. This program was an amazing breeze to pick right up (unlike z-brush, which I loved to try out but never understood). I can’t invest in something that I can’t trust however (Z-brush never crashed). Thanks

Pretty darn stable on my system.

Try deleting your Mudbox folder inside of My Documents.

Thanks for the input visualboo. Unfortuantely Mudbox must not like my current system.
