I haven’t seen much on CG Talk about 2.0 aside from rumors really… is there a thread somewhere I should know about?
Are there anymore known features in 2.0? Is this “Chameleon Engine” new or anything special?
Mac or Linux release?
Does it serve you beer?
Any more info on anything and will it be released prior to ZBrush 3 for Mac?
I’m clamping onto the thread. Texturing abilities? Yes please!
Someone give me some info/rumors. 
The Chameleon Engine is the addition of a painting system as mentioned, so yes it’s new and hopefully special as well.
I’ve read somewhere that they are going to release in Q4 this year.
Any more info is appreaciated!
edit: I wonder if there will be UVW mapping abilities as well. People also seem to want re-topo tools, which couldn’t hurt either.
I’m just worried they announce 2.0 with the usual “buy now and update for free” action two weeks after I bought it.
I was tempted to go for this but cannot afford the Gold Support option so would not qualify for the free upgrade to version 2.0. Thinking I may be better off waiting until version 2.0 is released and see what options they offer then.
