Hi
are trying to get a understanding of what can be done using mr sun/sky for archi rendering, have read the Arch& Design Viz shader documentation, liked it alot, some of it didn’t make any sense to me though, like the initial “code” declaration for each shader(for command line geeks only?)
anyhow to the point, is it possible to get a predictable(or scientific even) result by combining sun/sky/portal light and IES light data? I have tried and seems like i’m nowhere near a result that would even closely match the “real world”, brought in a 75W IES lamp into a “sunset” interior room with portal light, the damn thing wouldnt even “dent” the light coming in from the portal!
the example in the documentation seems ok in the “sunset mode” with interior lights switched on, doesn’t say really the settings of the floorlamp though,
Any tips, hints, links to documentation that could demystify(for me at least…) these types of setups would be very welcome,
Cheers,
K.
