Moving Topolgy without changing the shape?

#1

Hi guys,

would like to know if there is a way in Zbrush to move topology without changing the shape of the model? Like in Softimage you can move vertex/edges along the surface

Move tpology is a bad research for me, because it give me the topology move tool. That is not what I look for.

You can use the Slide brush(it’s been in ZB for years) Just hold Alt to constrain.

Also, you could use the new Zmodeller brush. It has a slide function for verts/edges/faces similar to constraining in traditional 3D packages. But you’ll have to either freeze or collapse your subdivs.

Nah the slide brush move the mesh from the camera axis.

I should try that new R7 then for that ZModeller brush
