Motion Builder is forgotten
Hey mhdmhd,
I can assure you that MotionBuilder is far from forgotten and that you should expect big things on this front in the future. We have been focusing on performance, extensibility and stability in the past two releases (Ext1 and Ext2), which our customers have responded too in a very positive manner (i.e. high-5’s vs. a 50-page list of issues). But don’t think that this is all you are going to get from the MotionBuilder team. We plan on rocking your socks off with the next release, so keep your eyes open for the announcement.
If you have any questions on our past releases or what is to come, shoot them my way on my blog: http://area.autodesk.com/index.php/blogs_curtis/blog_list/
Cheers!

well if your actually paying for MoBu like some of us it can be expensive upgrading every 6 months. personally I am quite happy with MoBu 7.5.2 and I am willing to wait awhile until they extract the bugs and add some useful features. Just because it’s a “new version” doesn’t mean it’s better than the previous version. There have been bugs in (cough cough) “popular 3D programs” that released a newer version and it turned out not to be the best upgrade as it could have been. In fact people were pretty pissed off about it.
I look forward to the next release of MoBu, but I can wait until it’s good to go.
