Hi guys! I’m quite new in AE; I’ve a 3d animation of plane that flies over a ground and a slight camera motion during the animation of the plane: both plane and ground are rendered in the same image. I’d add some motion blur in my animation, starting to enable it in my timeline: my problem is that, even if I enable the “layer motion blur” button and the “general timeline motion blur” button, I can’t see any blur in my preview.

Well, there is nothing that actually moves or changes its parameters, is there not? It’s just changing pixels. Would you expect a “normal” movie to get motion blur just by playing back? Certainly not! For that you still need dedicated tools that do pixel motion analysis and that still means Reel Smart Motion Blur.
