Monitor Advice for 3ds Max and Compositing.

#1

Looking for advice on monitor recommendations for true color. The threads i have been able to search were mostly very old. So sorry if there is already a thread about this that i may have missed.

Basically looking to get 2 or 3 monitors that i can work 3ds max, maya, cinema 4d… etc for modeling and photoshop, after effects for compositing. Will be doing unreal engine and unity work too. Would like to get true color and performance. I wont be gaming on these. This is purely for work. I do not mind the prices. Just looking to get the right monitors for my needs.

I would be very happy if you guys could help me out. Thanks for all the help in advance

What’s your current rig? And basically the gpu?

A good overall setup would be something like this. imo PCPartPicker part list
if you can afford it.

i have a 5 year old pc but still runs well…

Intel i7, 4770K Cpu 3.5Ghz

I would like to replace my monitor. Currently have 1 Asus VG278H. I would like to get something to work professionally. My gamin pc will be seperated from my work pc. I wont be gaming on these monitors.

i have a asus vgh278h at the moment. At the time i got it for gaming. Now looking for true color exprience for work. All my research leads to dell. Kind of in between, Dell Ultrasharp U2717DA and Dell Ultrasharp UP2715K. Currently trying to find a place to compare them and see it for myself
