When do we get Windows Vista support for Modo? Does someone know??

Modo runs under Windows Vista. I did my Modo review using Vista home premium but recently I switched back to XP Pro as Vista’s 3d support is very lacking and not nearly as responsive as XP on my system. Try running it, if it does not work make sure you have the latest video drivers installed for your card.

I was working up to now with the official vista ultimate beta and modo was not running. today i bought vista ultiamte, but havent installed it yet.
in the luxology homepage is written that modo 202 doesnt run under vista yet…
so if you say “pnoland” that modo will run, i will remove windows xp prof and try it… hope i works

Whoa whoa, don’t hold me to that. Windows is a tricky beast so not all systems are the same. Sorry, I should have said it worked for me but may or may not work for everybody. I was hastey in my reply. Don’t remove XP pro, dual boot with Vista until they release a service pack that will fix the Opengl issues. I wish you the best “Bommel” :slight_smile:

I think it only says “Vista not yet supported”, not “Doesn’t work under vista”. Which means that it isn’t made for Vista, but yes it does work (as you yourself said, which makes this post a complete moot point).
