modify original bind pose in 3ds

Hello all,

I have a skinned model with no animation, in this i need to change the position of some bones (i need to close its lips in the bind pose for export) in 3d max. I have tried several methods but i cant seem to figure out a way to do this without editing the mesh and the bones separately.

Is it possible to do this in 3d max? if so could anyone give me some tips?
