Hi everyone! New here, and it looks like I need at least two posts for my first one to show up, so thought I would post another question here.
What are some techniques that you guys use for modeling off of images with perspective? I saw Imagemodeler, but I’m curious if this works with models other than architecture; cars, or even people for instance. So far I’ve been just eyeballing everything, but end up spending a lot of time tweaking everything in the end.
My temporary solution is to create a new perspective camera, match the focal length of the one used for the reference image, lock all attributes, then use the 2d pan/zoom so the perspective doesn’t change when I’m moving verts.
Has anyone used either technique? Does it work for you, or are there better ways to go about it?
Thanks!
