Hello my name is Arnald and Im a computer animator. I only have 1 year of experience using Maya for most of my animation and work but I need help. I want to model and create my own character and my own environment, something that people will love and I just have fun doing it but Im still new to this. Since it’s the summer I always wanted to get ahead of my friends since they are better than me at it but I need help getting there.
I just don’t know where to start, I started to read the Cybex books on mastering Maya and they have helped me over time but I want more resources, it can be video, blog, books, tutorials, anything!
Also, I don’t know if this is too much to ask, but I learn better from someone personal experience so if you want to put your own story on how long you have been modeling or animating and how you started it would be great. Hell if you thing you can personally teach me I would love it.
