modeling curves problem

hi guys
I am modeling a gun and i want some help please my problem basically with curves and how to create them in the tow photos I attached there is the reference image and the curve I want to create highlighted with a red circle and the other image what I have been able to create but not what i want.

so if there is any one can help me I would be glad

Are you using smoothing or now? if you are its all about holding edges and directing edge flow. Put the holding edges further apart for more of a curve on the more “curvy” part. Then for the sharper edges put them closer together.

I am using turbosmooth modifier, for the edge part do you mean the close and wide edges which means when they are close they produce sharp shape and when they are wide they produce smooth curve
