Any simple face or car modeling tutorial will teach u the basics of Sub-d modeling. Check them out and start with somthing more simple.

If you post some images of your attempts at Sub-d modeling I will be much more interested in helping you.

i once tried to do it with simple loft. i created a ring shape and added the loft compound.
it came out like that

it still needs a few more of these swirls. anyway i’ll try these tuts you told and then post some more images. thnx

once you understand the basics of sub-d modeling this will be a very simple task.

Hello. Lynda.com has some exellent tutorials. I did a tutorial on lofting a sea shell that was great. Prices seem pretty good on video tutorials.
