You’ll have to forgive me if I do anything against the rules - this is the first time I’ve posted despite many years of using forums to solve my problems, usually someone has already solved any problems I’ve had but for the first time I can’t find an answer!
I’ve been using 3DS Max for years but after an 8 month gap of using only solidworks I’m back on it and have also recently got Vray and am learning to use it.
Was following a tutorial when I noticed that the HDRI Vray material was missing. Discovered that I can get the material by drag and dropping it out of the environment settings, and then when I click on the “get material” button IN THAT SLOT it returns, along with many other missing materials.
However, when I then click on any of the other material slots and click “get material” the missing materials have remained missing.
I know there must be a tick box or something somewhere that I have not clicked and that this will have a really simple solution, but I can’t work it out.
Also, cannot work out how to upload a picture to show you guys the problem. Sorry about that…
