Miranda [to Ver.2] ... (Nudity)

#581

Looking better, but there are still some things you should address.

The bend in the toes is better, but at one point both feet appear to be off the ground. I’m sure you know this isn’t humanly possible.

I would add a little bit more bend to the toes and make sure that they are on the ground until they fully push off and the other foot has grounded.

The only other thing I would point out is the spine motion looks better, but it still seems like there should be some up and down to the spine.

Keep up the good work!

Sorry for careless mistake.
Then, how about these?

Movie: WalkCycle-B-04-Sub.mov
Movie: WalkCycle-C-04-Sub.mov

Next time, I’ll switch to import free mocap data.
C&C are welcome!

Hi all!!

I’m trying to transplant some motion capture data (Thnx for http://www.mocapdata.com/ ).
For this process, I’ve built a interface rig for BVH data, and now I can use the capture data with least operations.

As you can see from the test movies below, there are still some troubles like at back of neck. It might be by jiggle values too much. For this kind of BUG finding, making test movies with different motions is helpful.

To tell the truth, I want to let her be public BETA as soon as I can.
However it is better to take some test phases like this.

C&C are welcome!

Very nice mo-caps Renpoo! The motion seems to be transferring very nicely!

The only critiques that I really have are the feet seem to slide ever so slightly. You might want to do some touch up to make the feet ‘stick’ more. Other then that there are a few slight pops in the legs.

Overall, your animation looks very impressive! I really appreciate the work you’ve put into this project. I would love a chance to animate this model.

Keep it up!

Hi there!

I’ve fixed some errors.
But it is difficult for roll joints in arms and legs. MAYA regular FBIK has those roll joints in forearm for example, but mocap data does not. What can I do for them in this situation? Any suggestion is welcome.

Thnx!
I will check your WIP.

Thnx!
For refinement on mocap data, please let it be the future assignment since I have no idea to tweak them effectively. If I got MotionBuilder, it will be able to solve this kind of troubles, but I don’t know it well…

I want to bring my daughter to you as soon as I can (are you using MAYA?). But I’ve found a few BUGS of her muscle rig by this test phase. So it might be better to test some more in a few weeks. Besides I have to find the place for her public BETA.

#587

I primarily use Maya and prefer it. When you are ready to go public, you should publish your own domain. You can also submit the rig to highend3d.com, which has a lot of rigs for public download. (Great exposure) If you want help testing, you can e-mail me a copy of the maya file.

As for suggestions for the foot roll/arm FBIK…
Since the mocap data doesn’t capture it, you should go back in and add it afterward. I haven’t worked with mocap much, mostly animate through posing so I can’t help you out with that process. Some subtle things are best corrected after in my opinion.

> H3x

Thank you for your good suggestion. ;)
I've already find a candidate for my own domain, but been seeking the way of great exposure.
And what I have to consider, to tell the truth, is that I want to make "her" as Donationware under Creative Commons licence, since it is hard for me to maintain my life. When I can't make my day, the developments around this muscle rig will be stopped.

About becoming a tester, let it be after public BETA. :)
It is because I've already felt the certain achivement of this muscle rig.
The public BETA will be in a few weeks.

> roll/twist joints

I've done 2 test cases to solve this situation.
One with driven keys, and the another with Parent Constraint.
It seems better in good mocap data, but bad in unstable one with undesired noize. The noize is amplified by this new gimic.

I want to know the techniques around applying mocap data to a rig.
Please someone help me!

Hello all!

I’m in cleaning up phase before public BETA release.
I do my best.
But, please give me a short while to build the Web space for her.

And after release, my daughter needs a lot of collaborations with all of you. Please join us!

C&C are very welcome!

It’s finished!! :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I've done the last test before public BETA.

(Comparison between FULLSET and SUBSET.)
Movie: WalkAcross-01-C-Rough-03.mov
Movie: WalkAcross-01-C-Full-03.mov

And then, I started making Web space for her.
Please wait a short while.
However please give me a rest since I am very tired......

C&C are welcome!

#591

wow…congratulations. your patience on her finally paid off:cool:

#592

Well done Koji! This is a milestone.

Any plans to go further with her…? In terms of clothes, hair and texture?

Regards
Giom

#593

Thank you guys!

> textures, etc.

Yeah, this is a milestone.
Of cource, I’m planning to make them, and it may take some period which will not be much time.

But I’m very tired.
Please give me a short rest…

#594

Hi all!

I’m on setting up the environment for my own Web site.
The explanation pages have almost done.
But I want to build those forums etc. for future use.
So, please give me a while a little bit more.
I think I can build the site for both of us.

#595

Hi there!!

Now, It's the time for my daughter "Miranda" to be released as public BETA to you all.
Please read the some descriptions in the website below, and download the comressed file archive. It's free but donationware under Creative Commons License, that is like opensource project like Linux or GNU.
I hope, from bottom of my heart, I can assist you in the figure making (on MAYA). ;)

For more informations, please let you visit my own site.
There are already some instructions over pages, which is better to read for you.
And in future, I will write a lot of things (including manuals) around muscle rig at there!

    Let's collaborate together!!!

P.S.
If you have any question about her, ask me in my forums.
C&C are always welcome!

Hey renpoo ^^
Glad to see you finiished her

I’ll upload her to test your rig .
But yek, I’ll have to wait to be back at home to test it on Maya 2009

I’ll have to be patient it seems ^^

I have seen the website you did for it .
Great with clear explanation of what you did
